SPORTS
PHOTOGRAPHY
Throughout my three years on staff, I've taken pictures at many events and of many people, but I've come to enjoy taking pictures at sporting events the most. I like the fast moving pace of it, and the emotion behind it that people watching from the sidelines wouldn't be able to see.

Griffin M. looks as though he's questioning why he still swims after finishing his race.

Jerronn B. takes the ball up the field and gives #22 a run for his money. The team goes on to win 8-0.

SWIM
PORTRAITS
These photos were really never supposed to be seen by anyone else. My friends Aditi and Michael both didn't care for their senior pictures, so they asked if I could take some more swim portraits for them. This was the first occasion in which I experimented with flash without a teacher, and it helped further my foundation and fascination with flash photography.

HEADSHOTS
"SENIOR"
This year, I took headshots for around 20 seniors at a senior living home called The Oaks of Woodfield, located in Grand Blanc, MI. My friend asked me if I could take these headshots for her leadership class final project. After these pictures were taken, we printed and framed them, and then took them back up to the senior home and gave them to the seniors that were photographed. This experience was very meaningful because of how excited everyone was to get their photos taken.

GRADUATION
I was given the opportunity to take photos at graduation in 2017 and 2018. Since my photos did not turn out as well as I hoped for them in 2017, it gave me a good learning experience on what to do and what not to do. This opportunity also taught me how to be on my feet and constantly be moving and looking for different angles.
